Over the past two decades this group of past students of the Sandy Point High School has made meaningful annual contributions in support of the students, staff, and teachers of schools in Sandy Point. The primary annual support has been cash scholarship awards to students of the Sandy Point High School, and science and computer equipment to the Sandy Point High School. The Sandy Point Primary School has been the beneficiary of some of these awards. We became a legal non-profit US cooperation in 2004. The Sandy Point benevolent Society, Inc. (SPBS) is registered in the State of New York.
WHAT is the SPBS PLANS & MISSION
Our goal is to raise US$5,000 annually. Funds will be used primarily to Educate our Children in Sandy Point. Since 1997, we have contributed financial awards to over 12 Principal Award winners; we have donated a professional quality printer-copier-scanner; we have delivered a PA system to the Sandy Point High School; we have delivered science equipment; and we have delivered books to schools in Sandy Point. This past November we donated two brand new audio-visual projector systems. (See below.)
"WE NEED YOUR HELP!" THE SANDY POINT BENEVOLENT SOCIETY is seeking the help of all loyal past students, Sandy Pointers, Kittitians, Nevisians, West Indians, Americans, Canadians, or any well wisher for that manner. We will accept monetary contributions, and donations of new or used books & equipment.
